'Secret Agent AKA Danger Man' Complete Collection Out September 28

A&E will release Secret Agent AKA Danger Man The Complete Collection on September 28. The 18-DVD box set includes all 86 episodes of the 1960s British spy TV series, starring the late Patrick McGoohan as John Drake.  The show is considered by many to also be linked to McGoohan's landmark The Prisoner,which followed.
A top operative for Britain's M9 Intelligence Agency, Drake was not the typical spy; he believed in fair fights, rarely carrying a gun and sleeping around like Bond and other spys?  No.  The program first aired in the UK as "Danger Man" and then made its U.S. debut in 1965 as "Secret Agent"  with a Top Ten hit theme song by Johnny Rivers. 
The collection is presented in the original broadcast order -- from the U.K. season to the 47 international episodes. DVD bonuses in the set include an archival photo gallery, the complete, original U.S. opening featuring Johnny Rivers’ “Secret Agent Man” and a Patrick McGoohan Biography/Filmography.
