Disney releasing 'Tron,' 'Tron: Legacy' on DVD, Blu-ray in April

Walt Disney Studios will release TRON: Legacy April 5 on multiple home entertainment platforms, including Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy, Movie Download and On-Demand April 5. TRON: The Original Classic Special Edition also will be issued the same date on Blu-ray for the first time
TRON: Legacy includes in-depth bonus features on the making of the film (such as creating the futuristic vehicles and world of TRON, storyline mythologies, actors/characters and more) and the all-new Disney Second Screen interactive experience.
The original motion picture score for TRON: Legacy, released by Walt Disney Records on December 7, 2010, was composed and produced by the iconic and critically acclaimed Grammy Award–winning French duo Daft Punk. The album peaked at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and was the highest charting score soundtrack in over a decade. Walt Disney Records will be releasing TRON: Legacy RECONFIGURED, an album featuring 14 remixes of the original motion picture score on April 5 as well.

Disney 3D Blu-rays for 2011 include 'Lion King,' 'Beauty and the Beat,' 'Tron: Legacy,' 'Tangled'

The Walt Disney Studios announced Monday the release of 15 of its films - from classics to recent hits- slated for Blu- ray 3D in 2011.
The list includes 3D Blu-ray versions of The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast as well as the current high-tech hit in theaters Tron: Legacy and the animated twist on "Rapunzel," Tangled. The releases will also be packaged with the Blu-ray 2DTM version.
Other titles slated for release in 2011 in 3D are Bolt, Meet the Robinsons, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, G-Force and Chicken Little.
